Fear Free Shelter training gives our fosters and volunteers the tools to truly understand and support the animals in their care. Foster mentors play a vital role in setting new volunteers up for success. As a mentor, you’ll be a go-to resource for new fosters—answering questions, offering guidance, and sharing your experience to help them feel confident every step of the way. You may also assist with home checks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for each animal. Most importantly, you’ll help inspire and encourage others, showing them just how rewarding fostering can be.
