Pet overpopulation is a large-scale problem in Texas, and the only way we can combat it is to educate the public about the importance of spaying or neutering. Through our partnership with Aggieland Humane Society we are able to offer reduced cost spay/neuter vouchers for those who do not qualify through their primary assistance program.
In 2022 we established a partnership with the Blinn College Veterinary Technology Program and Pet Supplies Plus to offer free microchip and nail trims to animals of the community. Since implementing this, we have been able to microchip over 600 community pets!
In 2023, after the success of our microchip and nail trim clinics, we partnered with BCS Pet Nurse to offer free veterinary care clinics. At these clinics, pets are able to see a provider and receive skilled veterinary services such as nail trims, anal gland expressions, sanitary clips, and more!
